I have 4 older siblings, and one younger, and I'm the only hypermiler/ecomodder in the bunch.

So far it seems that ecomodders have sisters.

Laz, why are "Oldest" and "Only Child" in one category? I believe that differences between oldest sibblings and only children are can be quite large. This could be key in my "Younger sister theory of ecomodding".

BTW I'm an only child.

Hello -

One sister 8 years older than me. "Psycho-mil-ogically speaking", I think that makes me an only child. My Mom was raised in the Depression. She didn't suffer, but she has that thrift-store mindset. My Dad worked on Apollo, so he has an efficiency mindset. My sister is like my Mom, but a wee-bit less thrifty.

Because I did not think it out well enough. For some reason I was thinking it would be more first born only child that were going against the current so to speak. From the extremely scientific poll it does not appear to be that way.

I should apply for a grant

birth order.

I am the oldest of three, and second to a missing fourth.

I am by far the most dynamical. I was v8 daily driver that went to drag strip...then top end daily driver goal of 165...then trouble, and calmed down years ago. My younger brother lost his license years ago, lives in a city, and is ecomodding beyond us all. when he was roadworhty, even had a motorcycle, thinking of fuel, and in maine that is not friendly.

My sister, she is like 2 feet 3 inches tall and insists on a 57 foot long extended yukon. There is a delusion.... I'll just call it american. do the opposite of yourself, "everyone" else does.

I settled for physics of answering "worlds greatest engine", but education gets ya thinking anyway...

I've wondered this also. An only child is the youngest as well as the oldest. And family dynamics are different in every situation.
