never use royal purple - do use WAI

a 1998 GMC jimmy is a re labeled chevrolet T10 blazer , where exactly would you apply the bead liner coating ?

T10 Blazers have 4 wheel drive , S10 blazers have rear wheel drive only , around here , we have about 1 S10 Blazer , the rest are T10 .

get rid of the royal purple oil , now , it is pure junk and not authorized by GM for use in any GM product as royal purple has no test specifications for anything , it is rated about the same as wesson or olive oil and should never be used in any engine - you should use any DEXOS1 approved synthetic , in 5w30
available at the autojoke on route 9 near the galleria , on sale as often as not for around $6 per quart in the mobil one version or at walmart in the 5 quart jug.

those systems have a propensity to have coolant issues , you should drain the dexcool and replace it with the green stuff or the yellow universal coolant or else plan on replacing the intake manifold gasket s on a regular basis ,

the injectors have issues as well , use your OBD2 computer to view LTFT on both banks , should be no more than +/- 5% from zero , and the values per bank should be very close to the same - if not - get it tested to find out why , but the regulator of the "spider" tends to leak into the intake and can raise havoc with FE and performance

here is a 2000 4.3 blazer , image shows injector currents in red , note 1 of 6 is missing ,that injector is open and non functional , but more important , the remaining 5 current waveforms do not show the same amplitude , this blazer needs new injectors , all of them , fuel trims on the affected bank are adding over 15%

tail

On my Toyota I pulled the tailgate and rubber bumper top covers and used existing holes in the steel bumper for attachment points, and also into the bedcover.
It just slips on,is bolted up,and a trailer light kit with electrical umbilical plugs in,just like a trailer. And license plate is moved onto the tail.
