I'm pretty sure the 95 Chevy won't accept a Scanguage, unless you have an OBDII port that works.

Slow down to 55, coast A LOT, do some P and G (Pulse and Glide). This will be hard to tell how good you are doing without real-time MPG readouts though.

vacuum gauge would help quite a bit to see how much your motors pulling on the vaccuum gauge.. more vacuum the better..
