Chicago CL 92 Civic VX - thinking of buying

I'm new so I can't post links, but just go to Chicago's craigslist and search for civic VX and there is an ad from 9/11/2010.

I'm looking for a primarily stock VX, not a street racing car, but this looks like a kid's car from the stickers on the back. Anybody in Chicago want to come check it out with me or if I fail to buy it, want to buy it themselves?

Here is what the guy writes in his ad:

Do not buy. The amount of carbon fiber clearly indicates the previous owner was an abusive riceboy. The fact that he lists the color temperature but not the luminosity indicates that he is making mods for the sake of conformity rather than performance.

Worst of all, this is no longer a Civic VX. What you want is the car that his old motor was swapped into, not this $3000 trashheap with a "vtech" engine and suspension components engineered and manufactured by eBay.

I feared as much. Oh, well. I have until June to learn about things like that. Don't need to buy a car right this minute anyway.
