Broke 23 MPG in my S10 [all city]

just filled up and saw my average was 23.39. All city driving as usual.

Not sure how I pulled this one off, I've been driving pretty much the same (actually sometimes 5 MPH more.) I really need to get that 6 Speed so I can move at a higher speed and still have the low RPMS.

I put on prototype belly pan made out of cardboard from the bumper to the A-Arms, that was about 30-50 miles before i filled up so I don't think that could have had a large impact.

I'd love to get some coroplast and do the whole thing

When I get a 6 speed I'll be looking to swap in shorter gears.

I've been thinking of doing that swap myself, but for the highway. I'd love some 0.50 OD!

Yeah I would love it. It will be rare but sometimes i do go on the highway, and with that 6th gear, and even 3.90 gears I could do 80 @ 1800 RPMS. Its close to 2000, but hey, I'll be moving 15-20 MPH faster and 200 RPMS lower so I see that as a win. However I'd probably float ~70 MPH

I have to say that low-mid 20s in the city with that engine is pretty impressive...probably pretty quick too with the manual.

I'm very surprised that i got this much out of it.

It definitely is quick, after driving the Camaro i thought this thing would be a dud, but its got 195 HP and 245 lbs of torque. It can get out of its own way to say the least haha

The occasional "carbon cleanout" is good for a 4.3.
