btfit 09 fit suggestions?

Long time lurker first time poster( even made a gmail account for it). After spending some time with my 2009 Honda fit I found that it would be much better to modify a car as a daily driver for fuel efficiency then performance. I am open to any and all suggestions as the vehicle currently is in total stock form (base model too). Well I'm looking foreword to the world of ecomodding and getting phenomenal gas mileage. Be seeing you
BT

tell me about it, cold starts don't make optimal running conditions.
I was thinking come spring time I'll do a few mods such as; KNN filter, Lower the car 1 1/4' on Megan racing springs. a set of Mooncaps. A bellypan. grille block. remove stock rear seats. Lightweight battery and maybe a mirror delete (but I do really need those things, if there's a thread about camera mirrors plz link me thnx). Anything else? does anyone know much about this stock fuel economy guage? or should I be looking into a scanguage. Because I'm already playing the game, and lowest number I've gotten from a tank of fuel (40L) is 5.6L/100km, and there was plently of room for driving improvements

The scangauge gives you a couple things more to look at, like throttle position or engine load, which can be an advantage over the on board computer, when you're trying to improve your mileage. It also gives you averages per trip, while still keeping track of the tank average - something most OBCs won't do.
