Building a stump grinder

I make a lot of stumps. I want to get rid of them quickly with out any other energetic materials besides gasoline.
I was able to get a Honda gx390 11hp motor from the local tractor auction for $200, it's a $700 motor new, for recoil, no-electric start, no magneto.
Figured I can use it on the stump grinder or leaf pusher.
On youtube 5hp stump grinders look tragically slow, so I'm sticking with the 11hp.
Oh and did you know the harbor freight horizontal 22hp v-twin motor is now $900?
(I'll make it upgradeable to the 22hp if I start using the stump grinder to turn stumps into cash, because then time is money)

Why? My preferred method to [fell/fall?] a tree is to dig out the root and cut below ground level, then use the weight of the tree to lever it out of the ground. Then all you need to do is fill the hole.

I don't know. I'm stumped.

I do know that if you make a tree fall it's called felling a tree.

also, if you're deaf, does it make a noise?

What about using the ground stumps as a feedstock for a wood gas generator? :D

Ain't got time for that.

I might do that but I don't know if separating the wood chips from most of the dirt is feasible.

Big stumps dont have a lot of dirt attached, but ones from, say, a 6" diameter have lots of feeder roots at the base. Pinballooking over on ecorenovator has a stump root cutter if you have a backhoe

Does it need to be as clean as a surgical room anyway? :D
