I bought one with 336k KMs, they are a lot like any other Civic in most ways. So watch for poorly repaired rust. The O2 sensors are more costly than a normal Civic, so keep that in mind if the check engine light is on or if the sensor has not been replaced in a long time. The VX uses it's own gear ratios, so be wary if there are any noise/shifting issues with the transmission - you won't just be able to take a transmission from any Civic at the wrecking yard to replace it. Well you could, but you would lose the VX gearing. So if the synchros are crunchy etc, expect to have to actually repair the transmission in the car, and not just swap in another one. We only had the VX for 2 years up here, so used parts are not going to be easy to find locally. Good luck.
