I want to get one of those new Apteras next year, the all wheel drive version is fast and 300+mpge is will be the industry's best.

You can reserve them now. The first edition sold the first day but you can still reserve a customized one. If you want to save $30 you can use my referral link:

Forget that vapor dream. Get a tesla now or wait on a vapor to never deliver.

I'd say get a Chevy Bolt now. There is a dealership in San Antonio selling new 2020 LT with "comfort and convenience" package and DCFC for $22k. Most other people report ~$24k out the door. There is a Costco discount on top of massive manufacturer discounts.

On the used market, I'm seeing 2017s as low as ~$13k.

There is a recall on 2017-2019 due to a handful of fires while charging. That may make it more difficult to buy used from a dealership. A permanent remedy is expected in January, but in the meantime the recommendation from GM is to use the charge limiting function to avoid the last 5% of charge.

This!
  1. If the vehicle suits your needs and is within your budget and it's what you want... GET IT!
  2. If it's not quite one of those but you still like the general idea/features/benefits/technology and it's worth the sacrifice to you then:
    1. Sacrifice either some feature you'd get on an ICE vehicle
    2. Or sacrifice more money for a more expensive EV with those features.
    3. Or both pay more and get less. But, the sacrifice shouldn't be bigger than your commitment to the technology.
  3. If it's not exactly what you need want and can afford and it's also not worth the sacrifice to you, or your sure a better car is just around the corner, then you should wait.

Where are these links I post you speak of?
You are full of it.
Anyone remotely paying attention knows I hate car dealerships.

He's talking about the poster that linked a referral to Aptera.

Hey now...context! He was talking to you, not about you.

This is what he's referring to:

As other's said - I was talking to you about the poster right before you trying to get people to click on a link to save $30 on a new Aptera.

I was assuming that you had read that post and were replying to it and saying not to waste time (and money) waiting for a Aptera that will never be delivered.
