How much more improvement can I expect from bone stock

My stock vw eos 2.0 stick... EPA said 29 hwy. I was able to avg 38

Now we have a 2010 tundra crewmax pickup with the small (ha) v8 that is supposed to get 19. With a full load of 4 people and camping gear, I have seen just over 21.

With our 2010 Subaru outback cvt, it should get 29 but I am able to get 32.

What little Eco driving I do is while meshed with traffic. I go up to 5 overthe limit, but crest hills at lower speeds.

Oh, and I was able to get almost 6mpg out of 105ft long triple trailer semis that weighed about 100,000lbs.

I want to be economical but don't want to see only one finger from every car that passes. My results have plateaued. Should I expect better numbers?

Back to reading.

Wade

my car is older so i dont have one but, since all your vehicles are obd2 i think a scan gauge or a similar plug in setup would help you out alot and you can easily transfer it from one vehicle to another. do any of the plug in users agree or have any tips?>

Is tire pressure up to sidewall rating, measured when cold? If not, I estimate that would help.
