1) Fast return of the steering wheel to center,
2) and low tire wear (my stated preference).

Nearly a quarter million miles on the first two sets of tires on my pickup where miles are 50/50 town & country.

Know what you want.


An alignment should be performed with:

new shocks,

tires of correct size;

proper inflation value; (IDENTICAL MEASURED HEIGHT)

weight of driver in that floor-well;

with a half-tank of fuel
