Campervan, eco in other parts of life

I find efficiency thinking goes into other parts of life.

Instead of buying a van I make do with a wagon. I was intending to use a tent... But instead I sleep in the back.

Is there a sleep system you've seen that is particularly efficient in this way?

Sleeping in the back for me means moving a few things out when it's time to sleep. I wonder if theres a better way...

Raised bed. Basically flat box covering entire back of a car with such height as folded rear seats. Less than a feet is usually enough.

A flat surface for sleeping on is important- set up your "normal use" to accomodate that.
Also:
Making curtains out of a blanket to keep heat in, light out and for privacy. Velcro helps.
Storage- a small set of drawers or small totes for personal gear.
Storage- a tote or bag for the curtains so they don't get destroyed when you're not camping.
Wiring in an outlet (or better, an inverter) in the back.
