Sorry I can't help you with the ignition switch on your Geo. I have had to replace the ignition switch on my '88 Escort a couple times and was able to pick up a new one at Auto Zone. I think the price was only about $20-$25 so it might be worth checking with them to see how much one for a Geo cost new at Auto Zone or some other chain auto parts. Just try to stay away from the dealer when buying parts.

To the Ford man:

Thank you...I was trying to post a WANTED ad but this site has poor software, and rather confusing links.

Geo Metro ignition switches are $150 at Auto Zone and usually have to be made to fit which involves cutting and trimming various plastic covers and dash items...not a very good deal actually.

I will try to find out how to post a WANTED ad once again.

Ogden

I probably have the part number you are looking for if it's a 2000 Escort, but I need the rest of the part number in order to let you know for sure. PM sent.

Ford Escort CCRM

Ford Man,

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your earlier e-mail advertising CCRMs for 97-03 model Escorts. I have a '99 SE (with the 2.0 engine,) and would love to buy a CCRM that fits that model and year. I've been to your site by way of Ecomodder, but can't figure out how to place an order. Please advise on how to proceed.

Thanks in advance,
Rob MacDougall

Hope you just got my most recent e-mail a few minutes ago about a CCRM for my '99 Escort, but looking for the original thread, I found your 4/21 message and thought I'd reply to it too. No need to reply to both, but I hope this one gives you the part # details you need.

Ford Escort CCRM

Thanks. I just checked my e-mail, but haven't seen it. I tried to reply to your earlier message today asking about the part #, but apparently I don't have enough contacts or something to send you a PM on my own. So I may not (probably will not) be able to reply. If we can talk, and you can advise me about how to navigate this really confusing and user-belligerent site, please feel free to at 202.320.1335.

Hope this gets through.
