Cd 0.25, 1997 M-B CLK-GTR

Even with all the 'clutter' of a full-blown race car, the GTR pulled out Cd 0.25.
Not as low as their Cd 0.18 F300 concept, based on the same C-Class, but hey!, we'll take what we can get.
If you haven't seen it:

In the 1990s I worked for a hard drive manufacturer (LaCie) where on Friday's we would go out into the back parking lot and set up a 1/10th scale RC race track.

My team's entry was based on this car.

South of us, in Carrolton, Texas, there's a great hobby shop, full of RC aircraft, then an adjoining room, just as large, hosting an enormous race course, which is usually busy.
I've never done anything 'larger' than slot-cars.
I'll bet it was a real hoot!

I've got a picture somewhere. Our team was Technical Support and a secretary that one of the hard drives was named after. I did the paint and aerodynamics (four-wheel skirts and an open aft. It would suck dirt out of the pavement and leave a trail hanging in the air), and the other guy did the motor and suspension.

The secretary had the ability to turn correctly when the car was moving toward her, something the rest of us struggled with. We kicked the shipping department's b*tt.
