chain adjustment?

I have just purchased a e-scooter a TS450LU. Any one out there that can tell me how to adjust the pedal chain? can't see a way to slide the wheel back. The shop that sold it to me can't tell me.??? Not sure how service will be from them. The chain falls off very easy and if I shorten the chain I belive that it is too tight. Need some help please.

Is there a spot for a good old-fashioned chain tensioner? You could always try a sturdy spring, arm and roller, drill some mounting holes and let the tensioner take up the slack for you.

Does your e-scooter use bicycle chain or a heavier grade? If the chain were comparable to bicycle chain i'd just use an old derailler with the cable removed for your tensioner.

sounds like they sold you a defective scooter, return it and ask for your money back.
