Cheap fill-up today

Filled up the Aspire at a Sam's Club today. Pulled up to the pump it read $2.61.. thinking to myself this isn't right. Looked at sign said $3.58.. looked the pump $2.61.. looked back at the sign.. looked the clerk with some what grin on her face and proceeded to fillup and leave in a hurry. Put 7.7 gallons in for $20 I about fell over. The other pump in front said the same. Going to be interesting to see if it actually goes through for that amount. Sure wish I would of drove on the vehicles with a slighting bigger tank.

I had this happen recently in my truck. I pre-paid $10.00 on a pump and started fueling. The guy next to me said "These pumps are slow." I also noticed, but then read the gallons. The price on the sign was $3.69 and on the pump it was .369

Just as I was figuring out what was going on the pump went *CLICK* and the tank was full and I only got like $9.00 in it. The guy next to me was also full and trying to figure out what was going on. I said to him.................

"They screwed up and are charging $0.37 per gallon and I am not going back in for my change."

By time I got home and grabbed 4 five gallon gas cans and the Metro and got back there, they already fixed the prices.
