Check your tire pressure gauge!

It's been too long since I inflated my tires , plus it's gotten colder, so I was expecting them to be much lower than the 44psi I last inflated them to.

I checked them yesterday with the gauge that's attached to my cheap 12V tire inflator, and they all read 40psi. But when I checked with a real gauge, it was closer to 30psi. Yikes. They're back up to 44psi now, and the car feels so much more powerful. I'm sure I'll be overshooting my glides on the way to work this week.
