Duh, there's processes that keep the system at optimum and that requires the batteries to be above freezing. Useage goes up by about 2kwh @ below zero. Keep it in a warm garage it will only be the keep alive monitoring stuff running. We had a ver1 at work and it used trickle charging to maintain the main 12v systems battery.
