civic hatchback rear wing

Just wondering if 1 of those aftermarket DUCKBILL type wing/spoiler for the Civic HB which curves up slightly at the end increases Cd more than the flat oem one thanks for the replies in advance.

It's been discussed before, but without some definitive testing there's really no way to know for sure.

Search the site for "ducktails" and the first hit has some good discussion. Any "yes/no" answer would likely be model specific.

If you've got some kind of instant MPG feedback tool (scangauge, mpguino) and a set of spoilers/tails to test, let us know

car year/model, wing model, maybe a picture?

I've pretty much determined that the wing off the back of the hatch on MY civic hatch is not helping aerodynamically, though it might with the mods I've made, dont know yet

i've got a 1992 VX hatchback. i'm considering the JDM 1-piece w/long LED brake light which extends out to the rear a lil longer than the US version - not sure how much maybe 1-2inches? and a fiberglass or CF duckbill/spoon style with LED but it curves UP at the rear.
