Excellent photos!

Cleaning Slambo's EGR maze (at 125K or thereabouts) made a considerable difference, but nowhere near as impressive as your Insight jump. Holy cow that's huge.

The trick now is to keep those passages clean. I'm throwing a healthy shot of Marvel Mystery Oil into every tank with the hope that it will help.

Small amount of steam in the egr passage condensed from the exhaust gasses would have the auto techs working on other things...

Be carefulwith additives. The K&N air filter oil when overapplied wiped out the oxygen sensor on my Insight at 35k miles, no warranty. I didn't install the K&N, done by the previous owner .

I will keep that in mind!

I love k&n filters, but over oiling them has been known to cause problems.

For example, the MAF sensors on gm products are especially sensitive to over oiling.
