When Iran sinks a couple of ships in the Straits of Hormuz and fuel goes to 3.5 Euros a liter we'll probably see this stuff all over aviation.

I had a similar idea a few years ago. My thought was to buy those small rubber bump-stops from Home Depot and place them on the front part of the hood (or on the whole hood (or on the whole car)).
