Collapsible boat tail

See attached.

A canvas (better material?) sheeting tensioned by a windsurfing pole held in place by a custom belly pan.

What a fantastic contribution this drawing is.

Aerodynamically,she'd be cheating the air very well.
Where we might get into trouble is on safety.If the pole support could be made to disintegrate upon collision ( like a movie jousting lance ), no one could get hurt.
The canvas would work if coated to bar leaks.There are some aerospace fabrics which have made it into the inflatable advertising industry which would work great.Coated rip-stop nylon,as is used with the rain fly of a camping tent works as well.

I talked with the owner.They said that the 'Blitz'-style lightning bolt exhaust wasn't quite restrictive enough so they went ahead and just welded it shut.
The engine will run long enough to get it off the trailer.
