Have you already got a grille block on the car ?
Having less cold air going into the engine compartment makes it warmer here.

Trapping in the engine heat using an underbody shield would also help.

Insulating the bonnet is also an option.
Some do that with an engine blanket.
Others use cardboard ...

I don't have my grill block on at the moment, but it will be going on asap now. As for insulating the bonnet and an under body shield, ford as been kind enough to take care of that for me

Insulation is worth to try. No wonder many heavy-duty Diesels are fitted with composite valve covers and oil sumps, to keep the heat trapped and suppressing some of the noise.

Well I've re-installed my grill block and not its only taking 3 minutes to warm the engine to temp and the engine is keeping its temp without have the heater kick back in
