What's the tax like on your fuel over there?
Ours is £0.70 per litre.
Thanks,
Tom.

Oh, I'd love to have the taxes you guys have. Here it's merely £0.10 per litre.

$2.79 here, $2.59 ish where my wife goes to school. I'm considering sending her down with gas cans to fill while she's down there.
I fully agree that it will take a huge hike in gas prices to kick off any kind of alternative fuel as a daily use item, but damn, it gets very expensive to those of us with extremely limited funds to begin with. I don't mind too much, but I'd mind alot less if my wife wasn't going through ~500 miles a week.

This thread was probably intended for US gas prices, but I'll to give an idea of how much we pay here (prices in USD per US gallon, today's exchange rate):
Unleaded 95: $5.97
Unleaded 98: $6.32
Diesel: $5.32
Prices have dropped slightly in the last 2-3 weeks.

I dunno, I haven't bought gas in a month, despite that I've been driving more.

I'm grateful for your info too. Its nice to see what everyone's paying to get more of a picture of cost verses demand.
