the meter is indeed adjustable in a gas dispenser .and yes once a year w&m checks and certifies them . they are mechanical and almost never give more as they ware out, always less. they use a 4 piston adjustable stroke( meter) & piston seals ware out . the customers usually report a problem when they are shorted.
