Diesel engines

Surpluscenter.com has some new 51 hp diesel engines. I don't know anything about the engines. Surplus Center - 51 HP LOMBARDINI DIESEL ENGINE

Catalog says 350 lbs shipping weight, while the web page says 560 lbs.

I have only worked with 1 cylinder Lombardini engines and I don't care for them. The electronics would always go bad and the little parts that would make up the external portions of the governer and shut down system would always ware out or break.

The bigger ones might do better because they are a totally different design. Looks like this is a non-turbo 2L 4 cylinder. Turboing it could make it a good little on road engine.
