$70 seems kinda steep for no more than what it does. Maybe it'd help train our wives?

$70 for an accelerometer and a bunch of LED's...
I bet you could hook something up using a Wiimote or a PS3 controller to do the same thing.

Hey wouldn't an inclinometer work just as well to indicate 'g-force'?

I don't think they would work that well, inclinometers measure a change in angle, so if you were going up or down a hill while you were accelerating, I think it would throw off the measurements a lot.
