Aerocap for Baja?

Just wondering if there's any interest. Happy to answer questions.

It's a perfect platform for a nice kammback cap, but if you're planning to make them to sell I suspect you won't have much of a market. Subaru only managed to ever sell about 30,000 of them over four years, less than a fourth of what they were hoping to deliver.

Thanks for the compliment and Im hoping the exclusivity is a selling point, which is more than double the numbers of my SVX which has quite the aftermarket even though there isnt much interchange which the Baja has.

I think the price and the MPG improvement will have a lot to do with how well it would sell. If it doesn't pay off for 100k miles, not many people would be interested. If it'll pay off in 10-30k miles, you'd have a lot more interest.

Exactly, theres alot of room for improvement for the Baja because the parts are so interchangable with other models, especially axle ratio, engines, and suspension. With the Baja suspension and AWD you could easily find some Legacy 15s and run a common eco 185/65/15 and still be over the GAWR without losing much ride quality and actually improving ice and hydroplane resistance. For the dryer states theres even a fwd transaxle.
