I fully agree with you, like that CRX posted, that car would do wonders with a tail extension, with the parachute relocated farther back. I don't see any reason that car couldn't have rear wheel skirts. But the belly pan, diffuser and nose cone are beautiful.

Although I can see why in road racing that wheel skirts may not be worth the trouble when having to quickly change tires.

when you have lots of horsepower, little things to improve Cd. are not very important....i'm not saying it's not important at all but when you have a 600hp car and it can go 220mph, adding smooth wheel covers will maybe help it go 222 mph or so
