My lifetime average with my Mustang (purchased new) is better than the (pre-2008) EPA Highway estimate on the window sticker. And it's 43% over 2008 combined EPA. And my 2009 year-to-date average is about 1.4 MPG better than my lifetime average.
The only fill I didn't post was my first because the dealer filled it when I took it in for service, and didn't reset the trip odometer, so I didn't have an accurate distance for that fill.
This was done with two (recent) mods (which haven't made any noticeable difference) and limited hypermiling techniques.
