I'll be watching your progress. I always liked the look of Lumina APV and it's GM siblings. I didn't know that the CD was .30.

He'd better restore the faith, or he'll be burning too much fuel in ecomodder hell

For your enjoyment a Lumina APV Turbo Diesel: 2L Pueget engine, 5 speed manual, Looks like a bit of a resrtiction in the tail pipe. Notice the dash board, it says unleaded fuel only, Only available in Europe.

As if there are not enough people putting gas in diesel cars.
Chevrolet to Peugeot sounds interesting.

That's a nice long bullet-train looking nose. What do plan on for the back? It wouldn't struggle against the gearing with good aero.

I was disappointed in the way the Trans Sport [finally] made it to production. In the interim, Toyota released the Previa which seemed to capture the Trans Sport's look better
I watched the minivan video. They talked about the first round of Detroit vans in the 60s , but show 70s models (no short, flat-windshield GMC), then jump back to the 50s for VW, then forward to the 80s for the FWD minivan. Chysler had running prototypes in the 30s of the Star Car, with a five-cylinder three-speed front wheel drive drivetrain.
That a really early Type II, with the spare on the right and the external gas cap.
__________
So what would you wife think of an inset box cavity?

Yes that is a very early VW van. I shied away from Privias, too complicated with the remote driven accessories.
