Now I vividly recall getting an XR4ti promotional video... in it the car was plodding around through neighborhoods at walking speeds, and the bland generic narrator was more fixated on stupid stuff like color choices than anything else. I was so astonished at the ineptitude of Ford's marketing for this "performance" model that I wrote back to them and let 'em have it.

Turns out my perception was right.
