That's exactly what I was hoping. with that I could put a car tire on a goldwing wheel and swingarm as a rear end for a FFR trike. although it seems I would at that point only want to buy the splined shaft.

That is one of my thoughts as well, one hold up is that the friend of mine who is helping me hasn't returned my messages in a while so I've been held up getting price quotes, I also need to test fit my part on more motorcycles, the silverwing/cx500 has a pin holding the swing arm shaft to the splined shaft while the Goldwing has a snap ring and on later models it changed, so I think I need to order up some replacement Honda parts to copy to make sure it's a direct stock style fit.
Lots of projects on the list!
