Electric truck

For decades I have procrastinated building an electric truck, or plug in hybrid. But here it is (next year)

Yes, it is very expensive but would be better than anything I could build in my garage. I was thinking of buying the last available stick shift Chevy Colorado and shoe horn a dual AC-50 to drive onto the front drive shaft of the engine. Not the best plug in hybrid, but if there is enough room? Any thoughts?
