Now if they invented the same tabs to convert the chemical makeup of water to a nice Chardonnay...

I think I've heard of pills like this, before...

They sure aren't new. They do increase your octane, though that's not always a good thing. You can buy them at the grocery store in a little box, that says "Mothballs" on it.

Someone did invent a way to do this, too bad he died about 2,012 years ago and took the patents with him.

Nota Bene -- "birthday" and "crucifixition" dates are about 33 years apart, hence the engineering footnote of 1979 vs. 2012 correction.
