EOC kill switch for a carb'ed RX7

I've been coasting a bit in this 83 Rx7 with the engine on. I'm thinking on killing the engine and coasting . I see lots of stuff for fuel injected cars. Not much for Carbed. Whats the best way for me to kill the engine , coast and bump start?. SC

You might need to design your own custom solution to stopping the fuel instantly in the carburator.

As long as there is air flow through the carb and fuel in the fuel bowl then air and fuel will continue to be mixed.
You are going to have to EOC.

Hmm, if the engine is off ,no vacuum, no gas. I,m thinking cutting power to distributor. Would kill it. Sc

It's possible there is an idle circuit cut off solenoid which was used in the last days of carbs to keep the engine from running when you turned it off. I know they used them in Nissans, not so sure about the Wankel engine. It would probably show on a parts breakdown for the fuel system, possibly on the emissions systems.

Yes the idle cut off solenoid, keeps cars from running on, dieseling. Cars when unleaded first came out would not turn off.
