27.Juni2011 EVOMOTO ... Summer News

Since the last newsletter the end of May a lot has changed: in particular, the announced new rear fairing was completed and has already proven itself on the Germany-tour in the past week. The present therein storage space was sufficient for all the equipment, including also extensive tool (which was fortunately not needed). In particular, the new, all-over opening at the front makes loading very easy now. Images of the new rear fairing as well as to accommodate larger luggage can now be found on the updated homepage under "Images + Videos / Vehicle details".

The Germany-tour was a resounding success. The evo ran like clockwork and needed the distance of 2230km only 24,65l gasoline, which corresponds to an average consumption of 1,106 l / 100km. The circumstances were anything but favorable: in particular on the sections Dresden - Berlin - Hamburg - Cologne, there were very strong contrast and crosswind (partly thickness 4-5), plus the often cold temperatures came (sometimes only slightly above 10 ° C ), intermittent rain and a total of about 40km traffic jam. That it was even pretty comfortable to drive under these conditions, especially the seating position and the front panel is due to the cold and rain has blocked excellent. After Germany Tour now almost 14.000km has EVOMOTO 125cc on the odometer.

The end of May to those who have expressed in purchasing a kit order-interest, an email sent. It details the kit as well as a possible price were announced. The response to this email held so far, unfortunately, in borders, which is probably due to the unexpectedly high for some Kit price (3,500 to 4,000 €) - this can at least imagine some feedback. While there are some commitments, their number is still below the recognized minimum number, upon which the cost accounting. Until this number reaches to interested parties, the manufacture of the kits will have to wait. I ask for patience and understanding of those who have already promised - I hope that your expectations are not asked for too long to the test.

I approach that mileage in my EV's, and with a second person in the car, much better.

Have any idea what your average speed is for the logged values?

The bike that bloke uses isn't available here but there is a fuel injected Honda 110 that is being introduced to our post office delivery riders. It will be very similar to the Innova but I'll have to wait for them to be sold second hand at auction as the public can't buy them straight up.

If a kit is too expensive or difficult to ship, consider selling detailed plans and instructions.
