Versa - '08 Nissan Versa SL Hatchback

Nissan Versa SL Hatchback mod thread.

I figured I would start a thread to document my ecomods, dont expect it to be updated too often, but here it is.

Today was the first offical mod besides adding a scangauge.
I did an upper grill-block and foglight covers.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

The upper grillblock is .08 impact resistant acrylic held on with toggle-bolts. The bolts have little snap-on covers, but the bolt-heads are just a tad too big, so only a few actually snapped on. I think I am just going to hold the rest on with a dab of silicone.
The foglight covers are coroplast that I held on with double-sided 3M molding tape. I spraypainted the coroplast black with Rustoleum paint for Plastics.

I am not completely happy with the foglight covers, but they work for now.

Next on the list (hopefully I will get it done this weekend) is an LED to tell me when the fan kicks on.

Then smooth wheel covers, wheel skirts, lower grill block, and a Kammback.... etc.

I found that the grill and foglight blocks improved gas mileage by 3 to 5%.

Remember that any aero improvements multiply your ability to use driving techniques to lower fuel consumption.

Pics don't load. Are they available elsewhere?

Thanks!

Never mind! I found the other thread.
