It's no coincidence that car manufacturers are going for LEDs these days - even for headlights.

Heck, people change indicator bulbs just for the looks - to get rid of the egg-yoke look in clear headlights - why not change them to save a bit of fuel ?

I swapped my now mandatory DRL lights to LED.
Cost a bit, but they are always on, and the LEDs are a lot brighter, so I can keep running them a bit longer.
