Faster backwards?

An explainer with some good CGI renderings. Spoiler: it's the only way it was going anywhere.

They coulda/shoulda put a radio beacon on it in 1958. It might then be in some museum today. The Beech Staggerwing was under restoration in 2015.

Staggerwing

Before the war, my uncle Ellis Conner Burnett was a corporate pilot for the CEO of an oil company headquartered in Oklahoma, flying the Staggerwing Beechcraft.
He often reminisced about that particular plane, and his home office held more than a few photos of this iconic bi-wing. Nice memory.
