filled up Memorial day.

I am on schedule for a best tank as there is still a quarter tank "just shy" left.
Ive seriously conscidered speed reduction for about one month and did so for this last week. { kids outa school now }
Ive brought my speed down to 67 - 74 and added a little p&g also.
I had several bad coast down showings where normally I would get a mile each engine off. And also hit accident scene yesterday that had inchworm effect for 19 minutes. I keyed off as much as possible there but wasnt very effective. there are two more factors involved in this tank. We switched last month to summer Blend fuel here, and day light savings has brought me into the light so no more head lights just driving lamps.
I dont want to jinx it but Im looking at a first real world 36 mpg tank as ive already gotten 336 miles this tank.

still my best

35.2 mpg and as I said there were a few days that I lost my special cost down. And my boat is in the shop so I keep diverting from my route and its not for the better.
So dropping 7 mph from top speed has big impact people.

Nice mileage.

But if you think 67 is slowing down, you don't want to get behind me

Wait till you drop down to around 55 mph

Semi's here in Europe are limited to 57mph, so we can easily trail or lead one if we want to drive that slow.

If I went up the Hiway @ 55 here there would be a small black spot on the Hiway where a Semi squished the KiA flat.
I merge into the slow lane @ 65-70 and still sometime force the issue.

Had a guy taking piks of the car yesterday at Lowes.
I couldnt tell if he was making fun of it or doing homework.
He got piks of most of it though, got shy when I walked up and drove off instead of asking questions so Ill guess he was going to poke fun at it. No worries here it is a POS but it has far gone beyond the duties I purchased it for. In fact I would be guessing but Pretty sure it has paid for itself 3x now with the fuel savings over driving my Dakota R/T. so he can stick that in his pipe n smoke it. lol
