Finally a decent tank

Well today was a great today for me. My best tank so far in the old escort. Basically all I did was keep the street walker to a crawl. I kept it under 1500 RPM. Crawling threw the intersections and really easing up to a traveling speed.

Oh I did 300 miles on 9.84 gals of gas. That's 30.48 mpg. I never thought it would break 30. You have to be very very strict and I thought I already was.

It's an automatic but I was about ready to give up. How does a puny 4 banger give me so little mpg, so today's fill was a relief.
