That Scangauge is addictive and a miracle-worker.
I commute 129km (80 miles) everyday.
I have been struggling and struggling to get a 40mpg average at least one-way, but I kept getting robbed of it just when I was getting home.
39.8 was the best I could do.
Today was Friday and I decided to take my alternate route. It's about 20 minutes longer and I thought for sure it would be a mileage killer since there are three small towns to drive through as well.
Well, some DWL (new to me, but the Scangauge sure did it's duty) and some EOC later, plus less traffic to worry about and I nailed 43.8mpg when I pulled into my parking stall.
I also discovered that my alternate route is 2 miles shorter (hadn't tracked it before), but due to lower speeds it just simply takes longer to get through it.
With a little coaxing that Sunfire isn't so bad after all...
