I recently started trying this hypermiling deal (a little into my last fillup). My last three fillups were about 31MPG each. I filled up today and broke 35MPG. I didn't set a milestone when I started, but I suppose that's it. That consisted of 3-100 mile round trips to Savannah (55MPH backroads, except for one-way was 70MPH interstate) in addition to about 70 miles city driving. I suppose my next goal is 40MPG. However, I did break 40MPG (42 and some change, actually), but that was 70MPH for about 250 miles. Surely 70MPH FE can't be better than 55MPH FE? Once I get my MPGuino dialed in, I'll do some testing. Although, I did notice higher relative FE (38-40 on the 'guino) at 70MPH than I did at 55 MPH (30-33 on the MPGuino). Keep in mind that's before I'm 100% certain on the calibration numbers. Thoughts?
