I thought this was going to be another Turboencabulator.

They aren't giving up much. Can you view the many illustrations on the Google patent page? The clearest view I see is the black tape on the sailplane midchord.

Instead of comparing to vortex generators, I like to see a comparison with plasma actuators.

Plasma actuator - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_actuator
Plasma actuators are a type of actuator currently being developed for aerodynamic flow control. Plasma actuators impart force in a similar way to ionocraft.Plasma flows control has drawn considerable attention and been used in boundary layer acceleration, airfoil separation control, forebody separation control, turbine blade separation control, axial compressor stability extension, heat ...

Deturbulator

1) No model smaller than 1/4-scale can produce reliable 'quantitative' data.
2) At velocities high enough for a 1:24- scale model to achieve critical Reynolds number, the model would be experiencing compressibility effects, a 'FAIL.'
3) In the past 99-years, no researcher has ever achieved a 'phantom' tail any larger than for 5% of total aft-body truncation, let alone, 100%.

Ummm, the glider picture shows the product installed aft of the high point of the Grob wing. It's already turbulent there and it's a Grob. (Glider joke). Probably whines at speed, too.
