Update

Unfortunately, I have not done any construction yet. I finally had time yesterday, however the local home improvement store cleans out their stash of cardboard every morning, so they did not have any large pieces for me to use. I have been putting considerable thought into both construction (durability and ease of manufacturing) as well as how to attach it. Hopefully, I will soon get the chance to act on all these thoughts and post some pictures.

There is a point to this post though: My fuel economy has drastically improved since joining this community. I used to average around 30 MPG in mixed driving, or 33 MPG if it was all highway. The last two tanks have averaged 37.5 and 40.7 MPG respectively (virtually all highway). There is definitely improvement to be had by adjusting "the nut behind the wheel"!

As soon as construction begins I shall post some images for your viewing pleasure.

Cheerio,

Fauxpaws

Any Construction?

I am curious if you have put anything together. I have an 03 Focus and I would love to see how things come out. I am very interested in seeing the before and after data; so let me know how much of an impact it really makes. Let me know. Thanks.
