Nissan's new B-segment, the Fit?!!

Guess the design language points a similar template.

Wow, it's so Fittish that at first guess I would say it was from China. The Fit is such a big hit in the rest of the world that it makes sense it would be copied. Look at the Scion Xb, Kia Soul and Nissan Cube :

When I went on a business trip to Japan in 2003, I was surprised that the majority of drivers were puttering around with the tiniest & boxiest keis. The Suzuki Wagon R was/is quite a popular breadbox. Saw Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Nissan, Daihatsu, etc kei-cars AND kei-trucks. Scion just brought the box over here first.

Yes, you are right, the boxy form factor is very practical in Kei cars that have to fit (ha ha) in tiny places.

Hmmmm, the Fit has a lot of cargo capacity + a small footprint + a low price, so it's similar to the Xb(oxy) cars I just mentioned. It differs in that it's more stylish in execution, aka the Mercedes A-Class. I wasn't thinking of that similarity when I mentioned the boxes. But I digress, as usual.

I've grown to dislike the Nissan design aesthetic in recent years. Ironically, I like this one, because it doesn't look like a Nissan.
