Yes, you are right, the boxy form factor is very practical in Kei cars that have to fit (ha ha) in tiny places.
Hmmmm, the Fit has a lot of cargo capacity + a small footprint + a low price, so it's similar to the Xb(oxy) cars I just mentioned. It differs in that it's more stylish in execution, aka the Mercedes A-Class. I wasn't thinking of that similarity when I mentioned the boxes. But I digress, as usual.
I've grown to dislike the Nissan design aesthetic in recent years. Ironically, I like this one, because it doesn't look like a Nissan.
