Alright, I tried hooking it up in the car, and it's not quite working yet...

First, the voltage regulator was backwards. The screen flickered whenever it tried to turn on, so I fixed that.

Now, it's not showing any data from the car. Occasionally, the gallons/hour number will jump to something, but then it'll go back down to 0. So, I'm no sure if I tapped into the right line for the VSS signal. Here's a picture from the EWD for my Tercel, I boxed the VSS line that I used, and the injector signals. Do these look correct?

The Rostra.com manual also says that the VSS signal is pin 13 on that connector, so I think that's correct.

Is there anyway to see if they're the right lines using a voltmeter?

Oh, also, on my injectors, both connections on each injector showed-12V...I used the black-red wire because it looks like that would be the ground.

Nice

The injector tap looks like it should be from the other side of the injector (left), any injector.

The speed looks right. Does the upper right field on the first screen "S" look like an indication of speed, goes up when faster, down when slower.

Never mind, I'm stupid, and hooked up both of the Zener diodes backwards. I just replaced those, and took it for a little test drive, and it works great!

Thanks!

Oh, and you were right dcb, I had switched the injector wire yesterday when I was trying to figure out what was wrong, and it's on a white wire now, so that works.
