That would be the reason for me to spend the $10,000 to import a bunch of those 22hp v-twin diesels just so I could put one in that car and sit on the rest until they sold.

. . . when you do get them. They would be ideal for a light-weight trike.

I had a vendor account with one of the mfgs a few years ago that would have allowed me to import 10 units factory direct for about $10000 down and future order guarantee of min 10 addl units. They cover shipping on the first set and the second set were slightly more expensive and shipping was on me. Total of 20 units for $24000 basically, retail value at $3,100 ea at the time including electric clutches and a 2 yr unlimited replacement guarantee. Couldn't beat it... also couldn't find enough serious buyers to make the commitment.

I may do something similar in the future, but I think small scale GDI engines aren't far off in the future anyway, so maybe hold out for a beta model on a few of those at a steep discount.

Plus with 5 50hp vw engines... and a 62hp Mercedes 240 engine with 4 spd... and 2 10hp diesels, and 2 8hp diesels... not much need for a crate of addl engines at this time lol.
